Cosmetic Dentistry

If you have problems with your teeth, you may not always feel like smiling. Like many people with bad teeth, you may subconsciously give only a half-smile or smile with your mouth closed because of your teeth’ condition. Some people who do not know you may misunderstand your countenance. They may view you as not being open, unfriendly, or not very smart because of your unwillingness to smile. That view of you could not be further from the truth. If your teeth were healthier, people would see what a beautiful smile you have. At Total Freedom Dental Implants, one of our specialties is smiles. We have several procedures designed to help restore your beautiful smile.

Our Scottsdale office has state of the art equipment that enables us to offer all the latest procedures. When you visit our office, you will experience a comfortable upscale environment where you will have no problem relaxing. Whether it’s been a while since your last treatment or it is time for your regular check-up, contact us today to schedule an appointment.

Porcelain Dental Veneers

Porcelain veneers are thin shells of porcelain that bonds to the surface of your teeth. They are used to fix teeth that are chipped, cracked, or damaged otherwise. We can custom design porcelain dental veneers to look and act like your real teeth. Your porcelain veneers will be healthy and last a long time as they cover, reshape, and help realign your teeth.

Porcelain Crowns

If you have damaged teeth causing you not to be happy with the way you look, you may want to consider porcelain crowns. We use porcelain crowns to fix fractures, chipped teeth, or cracked teeth. Covering your teeth with porcelain crowns can also strengthen weak teeth, cover dental implants, or replace a tooth following a root canal. Porcelain crowns can also attach a dental bridge or restore teeth that have severe damage. Crowns are custom-fitted and tinted to match the color of your natural teeth.

Cosmetic Bonding

Applying tooth-colored filling material (composite) to teeth is an effective dental treatment technique. For many years, dentists have been using cosmetic bonding to repair chipped teeth, correct discoloration, close gaps between teeth, restore decayed teeth, and straighten misaligned teeth.

Tooth-Colored Fillings

Rather than the mercury-based silver fillings to fix a cavity, many people prefer tooth-colored fillings. Tooth-colored fillings more closely resemble the color of your natural teeth. In addition to strengthening the teeth over time, tooth-colored fillings do not have the risks associated with mercury fillings.

Dental Bridges

The technique used to close the gap resulting from missing teeth is to replace the missing teeth with a dental bridge. The material dentist use in making a dental bridge is porcelain, gold, alloys, or a combination of these substances. Dental bridges create a bond between adjacent healthy teeth. An inserted dental bridge will help restore both form and function to your smile. Another benefit of a bridge is that it will help relieve the stress of your bites and help maintain the natural contour of your face.

Inlays and Onlays

Using the conservative porcelain covering of inlays and onlays, dentists can help restore your teeth’ original appearance. These treatments allow dentists to retain more of your tooth’s structure and avoid having a crown. Inlays and onlays are also a substitute for silver mercury fillings.

Gum Reshaping/Gummy Smile

A gummy smile resulting from having extra gum tissue inside your mouth can cause you to be self-conscious. Because of this, you may be reluctant to open your mouth. An advanced technique that renews the contour of your gum is Laser gum reshaping. Gum shaping is relatively painless and results in more symmetrical and balanced gums.

Smile Makeover

Your dentist can give your smile a complete makeover with Smile Design. When designing your new smile, dentists use several enhanced methods. Creating your smile will be accomplished considering your lip line, eyes, gum tissue, contouring, and facial structure. Because Smile Design is art mixed with science, our dentists have received training through the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Full Mouth Rejuvenation

Full mouth rejuvenation is a comprehensive method of restoring the bite and muscles so that your tooth function naturally. Dentists use computer technology and their artistic eye to help improve your teeth’ overall condition. Full mouth rejuvenation also helps resolve problems with sensitive teeth, worn teeth, headaches, and sore jaw muscles.

Contact Total Freedom Dental Implants

Regardless of the type of cosmetic dental procedure you choose, we can help. Our dentists can whiten your teeth or provide some other type of dental or gum treatment. Using state of the art technology, you can see how you will look before starting your treatment. Once we finish, you will not want to hesitate in sharing your beautiful smile.

With over 30 years of experience, our team has specialized in cosmetic dentistry and provided thousands of new smiles.   We believe we have assembled a truly exceptional team, one that is likely unsurpassed. For example, our surgeon Dr. Gerald Kaiser began placing implants at the very beginning of the dental implant era. His experience is truly world class. Because of this experience we have firsthand knowledge of what works but more importantly what does not.   We are committed to always providing an honest recommendation.

Many of our patients have received a treatment plan from another dentist and seek out our office for a second opinion.   During your consultation with us, we will review all of your options with you and explain in detail the process and costs associated with each cost.   Many other offices will quote you a price but will exclude fees and you end up paying a much higher amount than expected.   At Total Freedom Dental Implant Center, we are honest, transparent and will recommend a treatment plan that is in your best interest.

If you would like more information on our cosmetic dental treatments, please contact our offices today to schedule an appointment.
